Artexpresa offers the following WORKSHOPS and activities. Our workshops start at the point of the here and now. Typically, workshops have a CENTRAL THEME which helps to develop the goals, contents and methodologies of Corporal Expression: Body-Communication-Creativity. Some themes are common to all workshops: Working with sensibility; being aware of our bodies, of our movements and of the space around us; developing creativity and our ability to communicate. Each workshop adapts and focuses on the aspects that are right for each group. Instructors introduce the activities and each participant is guided by his/her own limits. We follow a very active, sometimes intuitive, methodology because the participants’contributions serve as inspiration for instructors and guide the direction the sessions will take.
a)We are not role model teachers; our task focuses on stimulating, accompanying, pointing out and helping what emerges from movement and action at the individual level and within the group dynamic.
b)We are especially interested in the direct bond that emerges through identification, spontaneity and authenticity with our own individual narratives and our personal style.
c)We bring a creative approach to our work by linking the contents of Corporal Expression with our imagination and the situations and stories that emerge from the work with contributions from the entire group.
